How we verify

Every race traces back to its organiser's page. We rate sources, not individual races.

  • Official sources are the organisers' own event sites and the registration platforms they use. Races from these publish straight away.
  • Reviewed sources are running calendars and clubs we have looked at. Races from these publish as preliminary.
  • New sources are sites our crawler found on its own. Their races are published as preliminary and the source is audited regularly.

Dates come from structured event data on the page when it exists. Fees are the lowest listed for the longest distance, in the race's own currency. A race leaves the upcoming list the day after it is run and stays as a record for next year's edition.

Prices and weather

Entry fees show in the currency the race quotes. To let you filter and sort races from different countries together, each fee also has an approximate Australian dollar value, using the European Central Bank's rate for the day.

The typical race-day high and low are not a forecast. They are the average daily maximum and minimum for the same week over the last ten years at the race's location, from the Open-Meteo historical weather archive.

We list half marathons, marathons and ultras. Shorter races are left out.
